Prospectus of Foundation of Website

This website is used to search for new environmentally conscious lifestyles based on Kyoto culture and to introduce and promote this new way of living. It aims to change modern mass-consumption lifestyles to slower "Bochi-bochi to" lifestyles, which promote care for nature and mutual support in people's relationships. Then, how can we make such changes? Make a how-to list of the environmentally conscious lifestyle? Or introduce a famous philosopher's ideology? Of course these are important and necessary. But this website is not based on this.

To allow visitors to this website to make this lifestyle change, the website describes the changes in mindset required by normal people leading normal lives. By introducing the ideas and practices of the person on the street, the website aims to produce a resonance in its visitors to change their lifestyles. Therefore, the contents of this website will introduce the wisdom of living and the thoughts on daily life of out-of-the-ordinary people who differ somewhat from the majority of normal people living in normal areas. That's not to say that celebrities will not feature, too.

Kyoto Prefecture is long from north to south, with an abundant natural environment of woods, rivers, country-side and ocean. Therefore, since ancient times, the people have accumulated wisdom and culture of living while caring for nature. The region is infused with new concepts of lifestyle and industry based on local nature and culture and offers the potential to continuously create new cultures. It is a melting pot of diverse areas and people and cultures.

Thanks to the writers and readers of the articles.
